Shirley E. Neagle
1930-2020

Shirley E. Neagle of Malden, MA passed away on December 10th.
Shirley was born in Reading, MA August 14th 1930. The Daughter
of Frederick and Olga (Herrstrom) Sullivan. She was raised in
Everett and graduated with the class of 1948. Shirley went on to
marry George Neagle in 1949 and the two moved to Malden where
she would reside for the remainder of her life. Shirley worked
many part time jobs here and there but her number one job was
mother to her seven children. Shirley also was very active in
her church The First Baptist, she sang in their choir, was a
member of Kappa Delta, Agathos, and she even taught Sunday
school.
She is survived by her children Linda Silva and husband Stan
Silva of Saugus, MA, George Neagle and wife Barbara Neagle of
Farmington, ME, Patricia Berte of Malden, MA, Nancy Eccleston
and husband Gerald Eccleston of Nashua, NH and Donna Eccleston
and husband William Eccleston of Farmingdale, ME. Her Siblings
Kenneth Sullivan of Stoneham, and Betty Iannuzzi of Malden, MA,
daughter-in-law Linda Neagle and Dawn Neagle. Shirley is also
survived by 26 Grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Shirley
was preceded in death by her husband George Neagle Sr., her
children Michael Neagle and James Neagle, her parents Frederick
and Olga (Herrstrom) Sullivan, and her siblings Frederick
Sullivan, Dorothy Harding, Richard Sullivan, and Marion McLeod.
A private graveside service will be held for Shirley. |
