Helen B. Rafuse

Helen B. Rafuse, a resident of Tewsksbury for the last 15 years, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 2nd. Helen was born in Malden in 1934, the daughter of Cornelius and Catherine Kelleher. She was raised in Malden and graduated from the Cheverus School with the Class of 1952. She went on to work at the Converse Rubber Company in Malden. She then went to work at Arrow International in Everett where they manufactured medical devices. After 18 years with the company, Helen retired in 2004. At that time she moved to Tewksbury where she enjoyed her retirement. She became an active member with the Tewksbury Senior Center. She also enjoyed playing bingo and the occasional trip to Las Vegas. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, William F. Rafuse III and wife Anne of Londonderry, NH, Stephen M. Rafuse and wife Priscilla of Londonderry, James P. Rafuse of Hyannis, Michael W. Refuse and wife Elaine of Wilmington, and John J. Rafuse of MN, her brother Stephen Kelleher of Wilmington, her sister Catherine “Kay” Dixon of Chelmsford, and her 11 cherished grandchildren, and 14 cherished great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, on Wed, June 5th, with visitation beginning at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, Malden, at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
