Richard F. Spinale

 

 

Richard F. Spinale, 66, lifelong of Malden, passed away on June 1, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Vose) Spinale, his daughter Leeanne Chodrick and her husband Dustin of Townsend, and his grandchildren Madeline and Jake of Townsend. Richie Born and raised in Malden, and was son of the late Joseph and Shirley Spinale. He graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1973. He went on to have a career working for Verizon until his retirement. After his retirement Verizon, he took employment with the Hertz rental company to keep busy. Richie was a longtime active member of the Malden Elks BPOE #965, and served two times as Exalted Ruler of the Lodge. He was also a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1910 of Malden.

He leaves behind his brothers and their wives, John Spinale of Peabody, Frank Spinale and his wife Cheryl of Naples, FL, Steven Spinale of Melrose, Ted Spinale and wife Kathy of Ipswich as well as many nephews and a niece. He Is also survived by a large family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Richie was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph Spinale, James Spinale, and Timothy Spinale. He was also predeceased by his infant nephew James Spinale.

A memorial wake will be held for Richie at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Saturday, November 6th, from 4 – 8 PM.
