                                                                                        William C. Spaulding

July 20, 1937 - August 18, 2017

   William Carleton Spaulding, 80, of Malden, MA, died August 18, 2017. William is the son of the late William R. Spaulding and Mary J. (Keefe) Spaulding of Everett. Loving husband of Carole Ann (Lombardi) Spaulding. Bill passed away at his summer cottage at the Rainbo Fish & Game Club in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH.

   Bill was born in Everett, and attended the Immaculate Conception, where in the fourth grade, he met his wife Carole. He was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1955. The couple dated for four years before their marriage, on April 21, 1957.

   Bill helped establish the Rainbo Club alongside his dad, brothers, uncles, cousins, and extended Rainbo family since its beginning 65 years ago. It was the heart of his life and where he always wanted to be.

Bill worked for Trimount for over 20 years, as a foreman. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

   William is survived by his loving wife Carole, daughter’s Donna Spaulding, Debbie Spaulding Thomas, Lori Spaulding Lopez, and son, William L. Spaulding. He is the loving brother of Robert, Gerald, and John Spaulding. He is the cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren, Kara, Emalee, Leah, Deidre, Juliana, Alex, & Josh.

   Bill’s funeral will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 11AM. Services will conclude at the end of the funeral Mass.

Relatives and friends may call at the Weir –MacCuish Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 4-8 PM.
