Janice Sesser passed away peacefully on May 18, 2017 with her
loving family by her side. Born in the Boston area, she was
raised in Everett, MA by her loving parents Josephine and John
She graduated from Everett High School in 1960, where she made many
friends and enjoyed socializing and getting dolled up for class.
In her early adult life, she met her husband, Stephen. Through
their years of marriage they welcomed a family of three
Throughout her life, she enjoyed various activities such as going
to Revere Beach, shopping, dining out with friends, making new
friends wherever she went, drinking iced coffee, and traveling
to various tropical destinations with her family.
As her daughters entered adulthood, they each had several of their
own daughters and one son. In total, she welcomed 6
grandchildren whom she enjoyed spending time with and traveling
to great lengths to visit them. She followed their lives closely
and kept up to date with their educations, activities, and life
mile stones. In addition to the many great memories she has with
her grandchildren, she has many more amazing memories with her
best friend of over 70 years, Judy Ristino. She was also lucky
enough to have two great-grandchildren, Lexy and Isabella
Leventhal who she enjoyed watching grow up.
Her family would like to thank the entire staff at the Glen Ridge
Nursing Home for their loving and genuine care during the course
of her illness. They would also like to thank the Compassionate
Care Hospice of Woburn for there gentle loving care of their

Malden, Robyn L. Sesser – DiCicco and her husband Roy of
Middleton and Alyson J. Soscia of PA. Loving sister of Joanna
Cotter and her husband Richard of NH. Cherished grandmother of
Britany DiCicco, Dianne and Heather Leventhal, Ryan &
Vivian Soscia and her cherished late granddaughter Erin
Leventhal. Great-grandmother of Lexy & Isabella Leventhal and
her best friend, Judy Ristino of Revere and many friends, nieces
and a nephew.
predeceased by her loving husband, Stephen P. Sesser and her
cherished granddaughter Erin D. Leventhal.
Relatives and friends are invited to
a funeral gathering in the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral
Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from
9:30-10:30AM followed by a graveside service at the Greenview
Cemetery, 232 Fuller St., Everett, at 11:15.
