Dorothy M. Pizza

 

Dorothy M. (Shields) Pizza, of Malden, formerly of Everett, a retired receptionist, died Sunday of natural causes at her home.  She was 83.  Born and raised in Everett, she had been a resident of Malden for the last 35 years.  She was a graduate of Everett High School with the Class of 1950.  She has been an active member of St. Josephs Parish in Malden.  Dorothy was a retired receptionist, having worked at Rohm Tech for over 15 years. 

She is survived by her daughers, Kathy and Florence, her son Larry, her grandchildren, Jeffery, Candace, Meghan, Mathew, Joseph, and Brianna., her sisters Eudaville Langille, and Florence Shields, and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Norman, and her siblings, Patricia Teneriello, William Shields, Edward Shields, Cornelius Shields, Hazel  Shields, and Bobby Shields.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Josephs Church, 770 Salem St, Malden on Thursday, March 17th.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Wed, March 16th, from 4-8 PM.

Pizza of NH.  Cherished sister of Eudaville Langille of Melrose, Florence Shields of CT, and the late Patricia Teneriello, William Shields, Edward Shields, Cornelius Shields, Hazel Shields, and  Bobby Shields, proud grandmother of Jeffrey, Candace, Meghan, Mathew, Joseph, and Brianna.  Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem  St. Malden, on Thurs, Mar 17th, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, Malden, at 10 AM.  Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home, on Wed, March 16th, from 4-8 PM.
