 Paul R. Peloquin Jr

Paul R. Peloquin Jr. 80 , a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on September 6th,  at the Dexter House in Malden, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Paul leave behind his wife of 40 years, Carol (Lacrosse) Peloquin, his sons; Stephen and wife Laurie, Michael and wife Mary , his daughter Michelle Amero and husband Kevin, his brothers Larry Peloquin and Gerald Peloquin, and his sister Helen Hanois.  Paul also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Christine Hanney, and Brian, Mary , and Sean Gorman, as well as 6 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul R. Peloquin III.

Paul was born and raised in Fall  River, MA, the son of Paul R. Peloquin Sr. and Melina (Simonin) Silvia.  Paul was a resident of Malden for over 50 years. 

He worked for and retired from the Archdiocese of Boston at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. He started as a caretaker at Holy Cross and worked his way to becoming the superintendent of the cemetery. 

Paul was a member of the Moose Lodge in Malden.  He was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden, September 9th, 2016 at 10:00 am.  Services are under the supervision of the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701
