Maribel “Mari” Molina

May 31, 1972-March 23, 2017

 

   Maribel "Mari" Molina of Malden, formerly of Lawrence, MA, was found in her residence in Malden on March 23, 2017 shortly after her passing. Mari was born May 31, 1972 in Methuen, MA. She is the daughter of Francisco & Lydia E. (Moreno) Molina of Guayama, Puerto Rico.

   Mari was raised in Lawrence and educated within the Lawrence public school system. Shortly after high school she took long term employment of nearly 20 years with the Aetna Insurance Company, based out of the Cambridge office as an Administrative Agent.

   In her spare time; while off of work Mari loved  &  enjoyed any and all social outings and gathering with family and friends. She was an avid Boston sports fan. Maribel will be forever remembered for her youthful spirit. She desired traveling with family and friends. One of her well known passions was dining out and exploring different restaurants around the area.

Aside from "Mari", Maribel was also nicknamed "Birey" by her eldest brother Francisco Molina whom she loved dearly.

   Mari is survived by her loving daughter Natalya L. Springer of Malden. She is the cherished daughter of Francisco & Lydia E. (Moreno) Molina of Puerto Rico. She became the beloved grandmother of Jaxon M. Alphonse. Maribel was also the sister of Wanda Molina, Iris Molina, Nancy Molina and her brother Alberto Molina and her cherished goddaughter Natasha Figueroa

She is preceded in death by her brother, Francisco Molina Jr.

She will be forever loved and forever missed by many.

   Relatives and friends may call at the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 4-8PM, with a eulogy for Maribel starting at 7:00PM. Cremation will follow in Woodlawn Crematory, Everett on Wednesday.

We are grateful for the Aetna family and their contributions as well as all other contributions made by family and friends.
