Eva M. Moffitt

Moffitt, Eva (McWade) 92, of Malden passed away on January 30, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Robert Moffitt and eldest daughter of Harold and Vera McWade, Eva was born and raised in Malden and spent time in Argyle Sound, Nova Scotia with her cousins as a child. Eva worked at Schrafft's Candy for her career and after retirement was a summer time resident of Bridgton Maine where she maintained beautiful gardens and enjoyed family visits. Eva was an avid knitter and we were blessed by her skills in the numerous sweaters, hats and mittens that she gifted us.

Eva will be missed by her sisters-in-law, Alice McWade and Adell McWade. Aunt Eva was the cherished and adored aunt of Sherry, Kerry, Terry, Brendan, Susan, Mark, Paul, Janice, Barry, Deborah, Matthew, and Jacqueline, along with her many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Warren, Harold, George,Paul and her sister Virginia, and nephew Brian. Due to Covid Restrictions, a funeral service will be held at a later date. Donations in Eva’s memory can be made to Harvest Hills Animal Shelter, animal shelter in Fryeburg, ME.
