Kimberly A. Melanson
1971 - 2018
Kimberly A., (Kucharzyk) Melanson, 46, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kimberly was born in Melrose in 1971, the daughter of James E. Kucharzyk and Mary (Crawford). She was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1989. She went on to work for the Eversource Energy Company, working as a Payroll Clerk. She has been working at Eversource for nearly 20 years. In 2002, she married her sweetheart, Jeffrey Melanson. Tragically they shared less than 2 years together when Jeffery passed away in 2004. Since then she dedicated herself to providing for their 2 sons. She is survived by her mother, Mary Summers, her step Father Joseph Summers, and her two sons Jeffrey and Joseph Melanson, all of Malden. Kim was preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey, and her father, James E. Kucharzyk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden, at 10 AM on Thursday, March 8th. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
