Roberta "Bobbie" (Perry)
1946 - 2018
Roberta "Bobbie" (Perry) McKeown, a longtime
resident of Everett who had recently moved to Scituate, passed
away on Sunday, July 22, after a brief illness. Roberta was born
in Everett in 1946, the daughter of Robert and Lucy Perry. While
still a child, the family moved to Syracuse where she spent many
of her school years, before returning to the Boston area, when
they moved to Melrose. She graduated from Melrose High School
with the Class of 1964. Bobbie took employment with Bank of
America, where she performed Administrative Clerical duties. She
worked there for many years, and when she retired from the bank,
she took employment as a home health aide for a couple of years.
Bobbie loved to collect clowns, and enjoyed watching movies.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy S. Hammock of Scituate, and
her granddaughters, Megan and Carlie.
In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her
daughter Jill McKeown.
A memorial service will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule
Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Monday, July 30th, at 10
AM. Interment to follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
