William A. MacGregor
1928 - 2020
William A. MacGregor, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away on Monday, December 28th, after a brief illness. William bas born in Malden in 1928, the son of Vernon and Rose MacGregor. He was raised and educated in Malden. In 1950, he married his sweetheart, Dorothy C. Muese, and the two settled down in Malden together to raise their family. The two shared over 70 years of marriage together. William worked for Baybank Middlesex, where he was the Head of Maintenance for the banks in the region. He retired around 1993. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy V. MacGregor, his sons, William H. MacGregor and wife Denise of Everett and John W. MacGregor of Malden, his grandchildren, John, Scott, James, and Heather, and his great grandchildren, Allison and Hannah. William was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Leonard, George, and Allen. Funeral Services will be held graveside at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake St, Peabody on Thursday, December 31st, at 11 AM. |
