Joseph K, MacEachern Jr.

Joseph K, MacEachern Jr, of Everett, formerly of Malden,  passed away in his home on Monday, February 20th, surrounded by the loving comfort of his family.  Joe was born in Malden in 1942, the son of  Joseph and Eleanor MacEachern.  He was raised and educated in Malden.  In 1962, he married his sweetheart,  Mary F. Mahoney,  and the two settled down together in Malden where they raised their four children.  They lived in Malden until about 10 years ago, when they relocated to Everett.  Joe and Mary shared 55 years of marriage together.   Outside of work, Joe was an avid computer aficionado, going back to the days of radio shacks Tandy computers and DOS programming.  Throughout the years, he found great pleasure in building his own computers,  as well as dismantling and rebuilding other computers.

He is survived by his wife Mary, his children, Gene B. MacEachern of Billerica, Bonnie MacEachern of Malden, Lon A. MacEachern of Malden,  and Dennis J. MacEachern of Salsbury, his brothers, Bruce R. MacEachern of Waltham, and Barry C. MacEachern of Malden, his grandchildren Crystal, Nicolette, Tayla, Colin, Brianna, and Alyssa, and his great-granddaughter, Autumn.

To honor Joe’s wishes, all services will be private, but please consider making a donation in his memory to All Care Hospice, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901, who assisted in his care and comfort.
