Phillip A. MacDonald
March 29, 1969- July 2, 2017
Phillip A. MacDonald, 48 of Malden, suddenly
passed away in
Old Orchard Beach, ME. Phil was a goofy, kind soul who loved his
family and friends. Phil was a lover of classic rock, the
Patriots, and all things animals- especially dogs. He was a chef
to his friends and family, always offering to cook and host
barbecues. He loved any excuse to get the family together, and
was great at making sure everybody felt welcome. He spent many
hours gardening, and taking pride in his yard.
Phil was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his
back, and drop everything to help out somebody in need. He was a
rock for his family and his many friends. Phil gave great
advice, and was always willing to listen. He had a calming
presence that many people found comfort in.
He beamed bright every time he talked about his pride and joys,
his daughters. Everybody who knew Phil knew how proud he was of
his girls. He was a supportive and proud father, and talked
about his daughters’ every chance he got. He was also a great
husband, devoting himself to his wife and spoiling her every
opportunity he had. Together they spent much time watching the
Animal Planet and just enjoying one another's company. Late DHL
Express Driver & member of Teamsters Local 25 Boston.
Phil touched many lives throughout the year’s he is a caring
soul that will be deeply missed by many. Phil is survived by his
wonderful wife of 21 years, Bobbi-Jo, his daughters Skye,
Aryzona and Shawna-Rayne MacDonald and his dogs Monty, Ladye,
and Hooligan. He also leaves behind his parents Edna F.
(O’Brien) and Bruce A. MacDonald Sr. of Somerville, his brother
Bruce A. MacDonald Jr. of Everett, his brother and sister-in-
law Jimmy E. and Peg MacDonald of Malden, his nieces Malorie and
Alyson and his best friend Gordon Crook.
