Betty L. LeBlanc

January 3, 1933 - January 15, 2019

 

   Betty L. (Carsto) of Malden, passed away Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019, she was 86. Betty was the daughter of the late James & Maria (Romano) Carsto. She was born in Hingham and raised and educated in Wakefield. She was one of five children born to James & Maria Carsto.

   After her schooling she would later meet the love of her life, Richard W. LeBlanc Jr. The couple were married on August 10, 1950 in Boston, MA and  later settled in Malden and started a family in 1951.  Richard and Betty would soon welcome into the family one son and four daughters.

   Betty loved traveling with her husband and family. Cherished spending summers at the Three Ponds, in Milton, NH. The couple once traveled to Europe for a destination vacation that they both enjoyed together. Betty’s lifelong devotion was to her family, her cherished grandchildren & great-grandchildren, it was her life. In her spare time Betty enjoyed gardening and crocheting blankets and things for the kids.

   Devoted mother of Richard W. LeBlanc III and his wife Angela  Cellucci-LeBlanc of Mashpee, Mary T. Breslin of  Malden, Deborah A. Mercurio of  Revere and partner Richard Learned, Donna L. Forbes and partner Del Orndorff, Darlene M. Luke and her husband Ronald all of  Malden. Loving grandmother  of  Kelly, Jen, Sandra, Richie, Keith, Terri, Billy, Ron, Jennifer, Greg, Ronnie & 10 great-grandchildren.

   Betty was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. LeBlanc Jr. & the loving sister of the late Joseph Romano, Carmella Humphrey, Jean Meuse  and Richard Carsto.

   Funeral service will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Friday, January. 18, 2019 at 10 AM.

Interment  to follow in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

   In lieu of flowers contributions in Betty’s memory may be made to the St. Jude   Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January. 17, 2019  from  4-8PM.
