Kelly Ann Keough




   Kelly Ann Keough, of Malden, passed away August 22, 2017 in the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, she was 51. Kelly was born in Winthrop, on September 21, 1965, one of four children of William J. & Jacqueline (Hickey) Keough.

   She was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School Class of 1984. After high school she went onto Nursing School and put in four years of hard work. She graduated from Nursing School in 1988, took her State Boards and became a Registered Nurse, a proud profession.

   She was employed at the Massachusetts General Hospital for the last 28 years, working mostly the night shift. She loved caring for and healing her patient’s back to good health. She cherished her time working with her fellow colleagues over the years and considered them all close family. She will be sadly missed by all.

   Kelly would meet the love of her life, John E. Fano, the couple would later marry in May of 2014. On her days off, she loved spending time at the beach, the company of her loving husband and family and friends.

    Kelly is survived by her husband John E. Fano. Her sister Jacqueline E. Rock, her brother Robert Keough, along with all her hospital family.

    She was predeceased by her father William J. Keough and mother Jacqueline (Hickey) Keough and her brother William J. Keough.

    A memorial gathering will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 12-4 PM. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, with her parents will be at a later date.
