Karen J. Vozzella

1948 - 2021

Karen (Bowen) Vozzella passed away on Thursday February 4th 2021. Karen was born in Chelsea in 1948, the daughter of Walter and Catherine (Amatto) Bowen. She was raised in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School with the Class of 1966. Karen then went on to marry Albert Vozzella Jr., and the two settled down in Malden to raise their family. They shared 47 years of marriage together. Karen took care of the home and their four children Nicholas, Jenn, Anthony and Stephen.

Karen is survived by her children Jenn and husband Tom Belmonte of Saugus, Anthony Vozzella of Danvers, Nicholas Vozzella of Stoneham and Stephen Vozzella of Maine, her sister Candice Bowen of Revere and her Grandchildren Zachary Vozzella, Brendon Vozzella, Gianna Vozzella, Jeffrey Vozzella, Alessandra Vozzella, Andrew Vozzella, Bella Vozzella, Olivia Belmonte and Amelia Belmonte. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Husband Albert Vozzella Jr.

A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Wednesday from 5-7.
