James M. Vozzella Sr.

1922 - 2021

James M. Vozzella Sr, 99 of Salisbury, MA, passed away on October 23rd 2021. Born in Winchester Massachusetts on March 25 th 1922 the son of Ralph and Marie (Gambino) Vozzella. James served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Monterey. James then settled down with his late wife Eleanor (Thomas) and together they raised their 3 children James Jr, Edward Sr. and Linda. James spent many years as a foreman/mason before retiring from the Volpe Construction Co. James was a member of the Malden Moose and the Laborers union, he also loved playing cards and spending time with his family who will miss him dearly.

James is survived by his children James Vozzella Jr and his wife Eileen, Edward Vozzella Sr and Linda Doucette and her husband David, his grandchildren James Vozzella III and his wife Colleen and Edward Vozzella Jr, his great grandchildren James P. Vozzella and T.K Vozzella as well as many other family members and friends. James is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Marie Vozzella, his wife Eleanor Vozzella, his siblings Rose Maccioli, Carmella Antonelli, Peter Vozzella, Anthony Vozzella and Albino Vozzella.

 Visitation for James will be held at the Weir – MacCuish Funeral Home on Thursday October 28th from 10am-12pm followed by a service at the funeral home at 12 with interment to follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
