Carol S. (Charshoodian)Hudson, a lifelong
resident of Malden, passed away on Saturday, July 14th,
after a lengthy illness. Carol was born and raised in Malden,
graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1960. While
growing up in Malden, she attended the Maplewood Baptist Church
where she was a Rainbow Girl. She then attended business
school, before taking a job at State Street Bank in Boston as a
Key Punch Operator. She later worked in a similar fashion at
Epsilon in Woburn, and PNA, also in Woburn. She was an avid
bingo player, and enjoyed going to the beach with her husband Al
“Tex” Hudson. Carol was also a past member of the Moose Lodge
She is survived by her children, of Brenda S.
Dalrymple and husband Scott of Everett, Richard M. Fields Jr. of
PA, Jessica L.
and husband Jim of PA, her sister, Jean Najarian and husband
George of Norfolk, her grandchildren, Adreana, Scott and wife
Melissa, Nakayla and husband Joel, her great grandchildren,
Marcos and Derrick, and her former husband, Richard Fields.
Funeral Services will be held at the
Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden in
Saturday, July 21, at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Forest Dale
Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home
on Friday, July 20th, form 4 – 8 PM
