Peter A. Frederico
Frederico, a retired printer, passed away on Monday, May 31st,
in his home in Falmouth. Peter was born in Everett in 1938, the
son of Peter and Lena Frederico. He was raised in Everett,
graduating from Everett High School with the Class of 1956. He
went on to become a Printer, and eventually opened his own print
shop, BCF Printing in Woburn. After selling his own business, he
continued to work in the printing field in both Everett and
In 1962 he married his sweetheart, Catherine J. Noumi, in Sacred
Hearts Church in Malden. The two settled down in Medford where
they raised their family. They lived in Medford for many years
before relocating to Falmouth. They shared 52 loving years of
marriage together until Catherine’s passing in 2014.
In his early years, Peter was Avid baseball player, and was also
a member of the Army National Guard. He was a dedicated Boston
sports fan, never missing a Red Sox game. He also enjoyed
fishing , bowling , cribbage with his brother and Sister-in-Law
Phyllis Frederico of Salem NH and outings with family and
friends. Peter always had a smile on his face, he stayed positive up
until his last day.
He is survived by his children, Robert P. Frederico and wife
Marilyn of Quincy and Patricia A. Frederico-Piwowarski and
husband Joseph of Beverly, as well as many cousins, nieces,
nephews, great friends and wonderful neighbors.
Peter was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Frederico, and
his brother, Carmen Frederico.
Funeral from the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on
Thursday, June 3rd, at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, Malden, at 10 AM. Interment to
follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
