John D. Francioso
1952 - 2021 John D. Francioso, a long time resident of Saugus, passed away on Saturday, January 17th, after a lengthy illness. John was born in Malden in 1952, the son of Domenic and Frances Francioso. He was raised in Medford, graduating from Medford High School with the Class of 1970. He then went on to receive his Bachelors Degree from Northeastern Universtiy. John had worked as a Paralegal and was working in the Massachusetts Court system for many years. He later worked at the Johnny Foodmaster Supermarkets. He was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching football. He is survived by his siblings, Loretta Checca and husband Sam of Malden, Annette Cameron and husband Walter of Wilmington, Joseph Francioso and wife Jennifer of Methuen, Diana Coakley and husband Jack of Medford, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann LaQuaglia. Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Friday, Jan 22, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, Malden at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. |
