John "Jack" Curry

1955 - 2021

 

John J. Curry, III “Jack” passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2021 from heart disease. He was 66 years old.

Born in Malden on June 20, 1955, Jack was a life-long resident of Malden and a graduate of Malden High School and worked as a plumber. He was the beloved son of John Curry and predeceased by his Mother Patricia A. Curry.

Jack was all about his family, had a great sense of humor and had the biggest heart and mouth! Jack loved his children, grandchildren, nieces & nephew more than anything. He also loved the Boston Bruins, fishing, coaching softball, golfing, playing Bocce and spending time with his siblings, friends and grandchildren.

He was the loving father of Kelly and Jillian and the cherished brother of Stephen, Kathy, Nancy, Beverly, Janice as well as his 4 grandchildren and 46 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James M. Curry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, MA from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. immediately followed (7:00 – 8:00) by a celebration of life where family and friends can celebrate Jack’s life.

At the family’s request, please wear a mask and please no hugging or handshakes, however please bring your love and laughter.
