Mary C. Conlan

1954 - 2017

 

Mary C. (Avery) Conlan, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away suddenly at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.  Mary was born and raised in Cambridge.  In September of 1981, he married her sweetheart, James  C. Conlan and the two shared many years of happiness together, living in both Malden and Somerville.  Mary was an fervent lover of animals, especially horses. She also enjoyed collecting unicorn figurines and piecing together large jigsaw puzzles.

 

She is survived by her husband, James E. Conlan, her brothers William Avery of Revere, Richard Avery of Billerica, and Paul Avery of Methuen, as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, John Avery.  

 

Funeral services will be held at the Weir -  MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Monday, July 31, at 10 AM.  Committal will be private.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sun, July 30th, from 4 – 8 PM.
