    “Life of the Party”

At 2:30 pm on Sunday June 25th a beautiful, sunny summer day, our mother, sister, daughter, nana and friend went to heaven. Elaine had been bravely battling a terminal illness for the last four years and this day marked a peaceful end to her journey.

Always ready to enjoy herself and the company of others, Elaine left no party unattended and no quick joke un-told. As a result of having three older brothers she mastered the art of flirting at an early age and this continued until her passing. Elaine was a Daddy’s girl and proved to be his spitting image in her later years.

At age 19, Elaine had the first of 4 beautiful daughters. She worked as a hairdresser and retired from New England Telephone Company.  She loved fashion and was known for her great sense of style. Elaine loved Italian food and was a master cook; she enjoyed nightlife, the beach, dancing, and cooking for her family.

Until her passing she continued to light up the room with her presence, welcoming smile, easy laugh and her signature leopard print outfits. Throughout her life, she was a great, loyal friend, and possessed a natural ability to make you feel special. Affectionately known as “Nana Ma” to her Grandchildren, she was a self-proclaimed QVC connoisseur, always on the look out for a good deal.

We cannot begin to imagine life without her. She will be missed more than words can ever express. She is in a better place now, dancing with her Dad and free of all earthly constraints. We love you, and know that we have a special guardian angel watching over us forever. Until we are together again - Godspeed!

Elaine is survived by her daughters Angela E. Ciccolo of Revere, Brigadier General Theresa B. Prince   U.S.A.F.  and  husband  Ken  Prince both of S.C., Gina LoConte of Saugus and Frank LoConte of Ipswich , Debra A. Clayton and husband Roy of  East Wareham. Cherished daughter of the late Dennis and Frances Frauton.  Loving sister of  Barbara  Icovitti  of  York, Maine, and the late Danny, Edward,  Paul Frauton all formerly of Malden. She also leaves behind the father of her children Martin Ciccolo.  Cherished grandmother of Tony, Frankie and Dominic LoConte, Gia Ciccolo and Elaine McCarthy, K.P. & Julia Prince and her great grandson Sonny LoConte.
