Donald E. MacCuish, the owner, was once an apprentice at the
Weir Funeral Home. He grew up in the Maplewood section of
Malden. Following his apprenticeship, he went to work as a
funeral director at the Nickerson Funeral
Home in Chatham, MA. After the death of Colin Dennis, the son-in law of founder Henry
Weir, Donald purchased the business from his estate. It is Donald's vision and leadership
that has helped to make the Weir Funeral Home into what it is today and his compassion
that sets an example for others to follow.
