Elaine B. Berrier

Elaine B. (Constantine) Berrier, of Everett, formerly long of Shrewsbury, passed away on Saturday, January 30th, at the Winchester Hospital.  Elaine was born in Greensburg, PA, in 1952, the daughter of Ernest and Erma Constantine.  She graduated from Hempfield High School with the Class of 1970.  She then attended Indiana  University of PA,  where she received her degree in Nursing.  In 1973, she married her sweetheart, Jerry L. Berrier, and the two settled down together in PA.  Eventually, Jerrys employment brought the two to the Boston area, and they settled down in Shrewsbury, becoming part of the community there.   They moved again in 1998, this time coming to Everett, where they remained.

Over the years Elaine spent most of her career as a Nurse, in both PA and in Massachusetts.  She was also an author, and had her book,  Molly Eiderdown’s Journal, published. She enjoyed movies and jigsaw puzzles, and liked to sing and play the keyboard as well.  She also enjoyed taking her husband on vacations.  In her spare time, she had volunteered as the Parish Nurse for her church, a role that had more to do with caring and compassion than actual nursing duties.

She is survived by her husband Jerry, her children Heather and Tom, her grandchildren Celeste, Giulia, Chase, Devyn, and Wesley, and her great granddaughter Aliyanna.

Visitation for Elaine will be held at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 577 Salem St, Malden on Thursday, Feb 4th, from 4 – 7 PM, and a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations in Elaines memory may be made to the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 577 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148
