Natacha Benoit, of Malden, passed away on
June 3rd after a courageous battle with cancer at the
age of 42. Natacha was born in Port au Prince, Haiti, in 1973,
the daughter of Belony and Sultane Benoit. She came to the
United States at the age of 13. After graduating from East
Boston High School, she attended Massasoit College and Salem
State College, where she received a degree in Nursing. She
worked as an RN for the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home. She was a
very giving person and was always helping others when she could.
She is survived by her husband, Jaen Remy
Touze of Malden, her daughter Anisah Saif Mabry of Malden, her
father, Belony Benoit of NY, her siblings, Magalie Guerreir of
Haiti, Bernadette Benoit of NH, Jose Benoit Pierre of Hyde Park,
Kaitlin B. Damus of Bridgewater, Herold Guerreir of Haiti, Edva
Guerrier of Haiti, Jean Benoit of CT, Belony Benoit of Florida,
and Mary Ann Benoit of Florida, as well as many aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Natacha was preceded in death by her
mother, Sultane Jean (Louis) Benoit.
Funeral services will be held at the Weir
–MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Sat,
June 11th, at 11 AM, followed with interment in
Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be held at the
funeral home on Friday, June 10th, from 5 – 9 PM.
