George N. Bayers

1939 - 2020

George N. Bayers of Malden, MA passed away on December 21st. George was born in Malden on November 25th, 1939 to Arthur and Lois (Norris) Bayers. Except for a few years in Tennessee and then Israel, George lived almost his entire life in Malden. George served as a Commissioner for the Malden Housing Authority for many years. He was also Treasurer for the 630 Club for many years, and really enjoyed calling the numbers for bingo on the weekly bingo night (pre-covid). George often said that strangers were just friends you haven’t met yet. If you saw him walking down the street, he likely waved and said hello to you. He will forever be remembered by his friends and family as a great man, and a wonderful, loving father.
He is survived by his son Robert (Skot) Bayers of Texas, his daughter Bonnie Bayers of Virginia, his brother Robert Bayers of New Hampshire, and his cousins (who were more like siblings to him) David Marsters of Florida, and Lloyd Marsters of Massachusetts. George was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Bayers and Lois (Norris) Bayers.

George passed away on December 21, 2020. Admired father of Robert Bayers of Texas and Bonnie Bayers of Virginia. Beloved brother of Robert Bayers of New Hampshire. Cherished cousin of David Marsters of Florida and Lloyd Marsters of Massachusetts. George was well known as a great man and father and will be missed by many.
